Appointment Cancellation Policy

1. OPD Appointment Cancellation

For outpatient department (OPD) appointments, the following cancellation terms apply:

Important: All cancellation requests must be made through our official channels - website, mobile app, or phone call to our appointment desk.

2. Cancellation Timeframes

  • More than 24 hours before appointment: Full refund of consultation fee
  • 6-24 hours before appointment: 50% refund of consultation fee
  • Less than 6 hours before appointment: No refund
  • No-show without cancellation: No refund, and repeat offenses may affect future booking privileges

Procedure & Surgery Cancellation

1. Elective Procedures

For scheduled surgeries and medical procedures:

  • 7+ days notice: Full refund of advance payment
  • 3-7 days notice: 75% refund of advance payment
  • 48-72 hours notice: 50% refund of advance payment
  • Less than 48 hours notice: No refund (except in medical emergencies)

2. Medical Emergencies

In case of genuine medical emergencies preventing the procedure, please contact us immediately with supporting medical documentation. We will review each case individually and may offer full rescheduling or partial refunds.

How long does it take to receive my refund? +

Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days after cancellation approval. The amount will be credited to your original payment method. Please note that your bank may take additional 3-5 business days to reflect the amount in your account.

Can I reschedule instead of canceling? +

Yes, you can reschedule your appointment without any penalty if done at least 6 hours before the original appointment time. Simply select the "Reschedule" option instead of "Cancel" in your patient portal. Your payment will be transferred to the new appointment slot.

What if the doctor cancels the appointment? +

If the doctor or hospital cancels your appointment for any reason, you will receive a full refund automatically. We will also help you reschedule at your convenience and may offer priority booking for the inconvenience caused.

Are there any cancellation fees? +

We do not charge separate cancellation fees. However, refund amounts are determined by the timing of your cancellation as per our policy. Cancellations within 6 hours of appointment time may not receive any refund, which effectively acts as a cancellation fee.

What payment methods are eligible for refund? +

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used during booking. This includes credit/debit cards, UPI payments, net banking, and digital wallets. Cash payments made at the hospital will be refunded via bank transfer or cheque, which may take additional processing time.
